Donations
No club event happens without collecting donations. Abroad, it is one of the most effective things you can do for the people who keep normal life possible back home.
Where the money goes
Everything raised goes to the Hurkit fund. The fund buys weapons and equipment for air-defence units — whatever soldiers need to protect Ukrainian cities from drones and missiles.
The partnership started in the summer of 2024. As of January 2025 the club had transferred 222,000 hryvnias, spent on grenade launchers, bombers, drones, mortars and air-defence equipment.
How the money is raised
- Community meetups with homemade treats for a donation
- Large charity runs
- Manifestations in support of Ukraine
- A charity padel tournament
- Dozens of charity dinners
- Raffles of lots sent by the fund itself
Together these events raised around ten thousand euros in the first year and a half.
Merch
A community of this size needs funding — space and equipment cost more than members can cover themselves. Nova Poshta became the sponsor, and that is how the club got its own merch. You receive it for a donation, and all 100% of that donation goes to Hurkit.
An unexpected thank-you
The fund engraved a mention of the Barcelona community on grenade launchers handed over to the 71st brigade.
Figures are as of January 2025, from the Rubryka article about the club. Current fundraising is posted on Instagram.
