The whole crowd — Ukrainian Runners in Barcelona

The whole crowd

A group photo after a run: flags, kids, dogs and people of very different ages — this is what an ordinary Saturday looks like.

This is not a race and not a competition — it is an ordinary Saturday. The photo shows what the club is actually made of: flags, children, dogs, people in very different shape and of very different ages.

The organisers say it plainly: members range from four or five years old to people over sixty, and fitness level does not matter. Routes and paces are adapted so that one person can cover three symbolic kilometres for the company, while another gets a proper ten-kilometre session.

That is why the group photo is taken after every run: it shows not the result, but how many different people turned up.

From the Rubryka article about the club, credited there as “Photo: URB”.
