Through the streets of Barcelona
Routes go through the city rather than around a track, and the pace is set so the group stays together.
Routes go through the city, not around a track. That is deliberate: runs with Ukrainian flags became weekly precisely because Spanish media started covering the war less often.
So a second goal was added to the first one — to remind locals as often as possible that the war continues. Every Saturday on the streets of Barcelona works as a small reminder.
The pace is set so the group stays together and nobody is left behind. For those who are afraid of holding everyone up, there is a calculator on this site: even a very relaxed pace over three kilometres takes less than half an hour.
